I’m a 34[agecalc birthdate="1977-01-17] year old web developer originally from Halifax (West Yorkshire, not Canada). I now live in the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh with my amazingly talented and gorgeous girlfriend Juliet.
I’ll get around to fleshing this out later on but for now here are a few random facts about me:
- I’ve been pescatarian since the age of eight.
- I was in the 1992 edition of the Guinness Book of World records (second entry on page 210 if you have a copy to hand).
- I’m a 1st dan black belt in Wado Ryu Karate but have trained to various levels in four other martial arts.
The “child progeny” of the site tagline is a reference to my favourite malapropism as quoted in Calvin and Hobbes. To rework another memorable quote (from Oscar Wilde) I know I am no longer young enough to know everything. In fact, the older I get the more I realise that I do not know.
